This Remington pre-1968 manufactured receiver is for the standard model 514-P bolt action rimfire rifle and is in very good condition retaining 90% or more original blue finish with the balance exhibiting a brown patina. This is the only part on the model 514-P rifle that is tracked as a firearm therefore it will need to be transferred through a dealer. Receivers do not qualify as a C&R based on BATFE's guide lines.   This reciever is factory drilled and designed to mount a rear peep sight (sold seperately.)(file photo)
